One of my favorite songs

I must admit that I have varied likes and preferences for music. I can listen to almost any kind of music and enjoy it, but the songs I like the most are the ones sung in English. For example, one of my favorite songs is “The Scientist”, sung by the music band Coldplay. I have followed the bands’ work since I discovered this song.

Coldplay is a British pop rock music band, which was born in 1996. The band is composed of four men, whose names are Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. Coldplay has created more than 25 music albums, and they have internationally sold 80 million of album copies. What I find interesting about this band is that it was created by Chris Martin and Jon Buckland when they were college students, and afterwards they accepted two friends in the band.

I found the song “The scientist” when I was in high school, thanks to a friend that played it while we were studying. I liked it because it was an English song, and I though its lyrics were beautiful from the very first moment. Not only did I love the lyrics, but I also liked its calm rhythm. All I can think about when I hear this song is love. I believe that someone can love you so intensely that they will come back to you and will fight for your love, no matter how tough things get. This song became one of my favorite ones because my friend and I used to listen to it together, therefore it was like an anthem of our friendship. Only later did I realized this song has some nostalgic vibes, since it tells the story of someone who lost a person that loved, and he attempts to overcome their vicissitudes.

What I like about this song is the way I feel when I listen to it, because it makes me feel too much love and it reminds me how important it is to express your love for someone. In addition, this song has helped me to understand that my loved one and I, we can make it through the hard times.
